The Happenings

Why was I near Colorado? Great question.

I love telling stories. I told my mother last night that I want to be one of those old men that tells kids all kinds of stories that they love about the "old days." Sure, they aren't old now, but in fifty years, these days will be older than dirt. I have an extra advantage too, I have experienced a lot for twenty-two. I've been in ten countries on four continents. That makes for a lot of stories. So with my love for story telling and addiction to travel, I find them easy to put together; I do missions. When I am home, I tell stories about not being home. I love it. God has given me something I enjoy.

I was invited by BK to speak at a small church here in New Mexico and I took her up on the offer! As I have mentioned, I also fell into a great opportunity to fly around in a plane at a reasonable cost. So I flew on over the their little Church on Saturday, spent the night, spoke Sunday morning about missions and Church ministry while taking TONS of questions. I love questions! We spoke about needs in the mission field, how to get active in ministry wherever you are, and what international work is like. They all had great input and I think we gleaned off the knowledge and wisdom each other. After the meeting, we met again, this time in the eating area. Mmm... they fed me. It was wonderful. Then I hopped in the little plane and flew three hours back home.

I want to thank you guys for all your help and for even inviting me! It was great and I learned a lot. I hope you benefited from my visit as much as I did from your company. I hope to visit again sometime.

You already saw the photo of me on a mountain. Here's the wonderful New Mexico landscape.
